Secretaire is a cabinet-cum-desk for storing objects, documents, reports, knick-knacks and equipment. Anything precious, delicate, personal, confidential or intimate. Part writing desk, part vault, it heralded continuity between home and office, between a public and a privare dimension. Featuring a clean-cut, rigorous volume, it changes according to the way the worker uses it - either standing or sitting- and to the technology installed within.
